To Get You Thinking
It is easy to get strong – but it is hard to apply to that acquired strength to your sport or event!
The Functional Path is a path that had been traveled many times before but had fallen out of use in favor of smoother paved roads that promised faster and easier results. Seeking to follow and better define the functional path is a continuing journey, fortunately it is a journey that many have traveled before. Functional Path training is getting back to the basics of movement. It is learning to tune into the body and it’s inherent wisdom to produce rhythmic flowing movement.

Damn right it is Vern. My pb in the clean is from the summer I ran my worst times for 400m. From my experience though, pbs at deadlift, squat and SLJ translated to pbs but Power clean and snatch did not.
Shameless Plug: Ireland's 4*4 relay squad of which I'm a part of, put up a website a few days ago. We'd like to put a resource page together - have you ever written any (free) articles on 400m? I really liked the Phil Lundin article and would have like to have heard more.
